Bio Richard Heinsohn
Owner of Swim Pool SafeTM Began his business after retiring from the semiconductor industry of eleven years and assisting two start up companies to public offering. Soon after wanted to do something else and went to work as a Commercial Account Executive for a national swimming pool retail and service company. Since then Richard has retired from the commercial sector only to put his background to use managing his own business. Richard has held many positions throughout his career from working in the field as a technician, manager, account manager, sales & marketing, customer support manager, trainer, educator, international help desk manager and account executive. With a formal education in Information Technology and Management and a well diversified hands-on work experience background has seen a need for his business to train and certify public swimming pool operators and homeowners through various classes he offers through Swim Pool SafeTM. Richard is a current National Swimming Pool Foundation® (NSPF®) Certified Pool and Spa Instructor (CPOI®) and a Certified Pool and Spa Operator® (CPO®). Richard’s business is also supported by his wife, Jami, who answers the phone and processes the paperwork when Richard is teaching classes. |
